This term each group will be working toward a production of "The Emperors New Clothes". This is a hilarious pantomime which will be performed at the 'Headgate Theatre' in mid/late January.
ActUp
ActUp is an acting group that takes place on a Monday lunchtime in Mrs. Khines's room.
I go to ActUp because I enjoy acting. The teacher makes it even more enjoyable becuase she is funny and makes it time well spent.
At ActUp we do some acting from a script as well as some games. You can also see your friends there too!
I think you should go to ActUp because its certainly not a wast of a lunchtime and you also its a good place to see your friends that aren't in your class.

We sing songs at the start of every French lesson and the Madame holds up some cards and we have to say what they are in French, for example, if Madame Adnerson held up a snail it would be called l'escargot.

Film Club with Mr. Brownsell and Miss Edwards
Why to I go to film club?
I go to film club because it is a good time to hang out with my friends, eat popcorn and snacks and watch good films.
What you do at film club?
Film club is for four weeks. Usually, Mr. Brownsell picks a year group, lets them have a go and then once four weeks are up another year group can do it. As soon as school finishes you go into Miss Piper's class and then once Mr. Brownsell gets there you can pick a film. There are normally 2 or 3 films that you can choose from.
Why should you got to film club?
You go to film club because it is good for all ages. I am Year 6 now and I have been going since Year 3. Also, even if you don't really enjoy the film for one week it doesn't matter because you still have your friends with you. You are allowed to take some snacks and a beanbag.
Where and when?
Film club is on a Friday from straight after school until 5.15 p.m. It is in Miss Piper's classroom.
